How I became a Software Developer

Hi! I’m Katherine Petalio-Amar, I have considered myself an experienced Software Developer and I’m comfortable using PHP, Javascript Language for Web Development and Objective C, Swift, Java for Mobile App Development.
I started coding way back in 2010 (College Days), well at first I’m not into it. My ultimate goal is to Graduate from College and get a decent job. But it has changed when I met this college instructor “Sir Lorca”. He motivated me to focus on at least one programming language. He said, “It is not enough to know all the programming languages, you should have at least one that you could tell, that’s my expertise!”. So, I was pushed to this field to gain more knowledge while earning.
I focused my learning on PHP and MySQL. Then, as our On-the-Job Training is fast approaching, I searched for a company that will suit my “EXPERTISE”. I found the perfect company for me. I was hired as an intern in WVH-Asia (now Web Outsourcing Gateway Inc.) for almost 2 and a half months as completion of my 400-hour training. Luckily, I was hired immediately after the training, which was a month before graduation! (I’m proud of myself for that. :D)
And then the REAL WORLD starts!
I don’t really write articles or anything (To be honest I hate writing). But since I’m engaged in Programming where most of us get the codes or ideas from the web, having these blogs could help new developers to get some ideas or fix their problems or issues.
I would like to share what I KNOW, what PROBLEMS and ISSUES I have encountered.
